Opis
This converted wine merchant's house (18C) is now home to a collection of furniture and paintings from the 18C and 19C that are representative of the Romantic movement. There are also pieces by Friedrich Overbeck (1789-1869), head of the Nazarenes. Works by Max Liebermann, the Expressionnist Kirchner, native Lübeck painter, A. Aereboe, as well as a few works that Edvard Munch painted in Lübeck.
