Opis

This small hilly region of olive- and chestnut-groves merges into a fertile coastal plain where vineyards, citrus fruit trees and cereal crops flourish. Loreto di Casinca offers a superb view over the hilltop villages of La Casinca and, in the distance, over the eastern plain, the Étang de Biguglia, the coast and the Tuscan strait and its islands. Among the latter, Vescovato was a place of political and historical importance.
