Opis
Housed in the former Commonwealth Institute building in Kensington, this impressive 10 000m² space renovated by John Pawson is mainly worth a visit to explore the top floor. Here, you can follow the evolution of contemporary design through the "Designer Maker User" permanent collection which displays key objects from each major area of design (housing, transport, computer technology, the car industry, textiles etc). Temporary exhibitions are also held here.
