Opis
With Big Ben soaring above it, the Palace of Westminster bewitched Monet, who was inspired to paint one of his most famous series of paintings by the combination of monumental stonework, river and sky. Cradle of British democracy, it is composed of the House of Commons and House of Lords, and represents the very core of the country's political life. When Parliament is sitting, the Union Jack flies from the Victoria Tower.
