This museum, built in 1983 by architect Leslie Martin, has an interesting design, in which the surrounding vegetation is perfectly incorporated into its overall space, creating the impression of a green façade. It houses modern works of art by contemporary Portuguese and international artists from 1910 to the present day, including Vieira da Silva, Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso and José de Almada Negreiros.
