Opis

A handsome colonial mansion set in landscaped gardens is the venue for some 45,000 ceramics: the collections include pottery and Cupisnique, Mochica and Chimú objects, as well as several mummies, still wrapped in their mortuary fabric. In addition to the incredible beauty and perfect state of conservation of the pieces on show, the other highlight of the museum is its excellent presentation, with detailed explanations in several languages (including English).
