Its attractive, informative and interactive displays provide detailed information on events and historic and artistic trends. The major exhibits on display in this fascinating museum include the 10C votive cross of Santiago de Peñalba, and the 11C Christ of Carrizo, an ivory statuette showing clear Byzantine influence.
