Opis

Nestling between the Risoux and Tendre mountain ranges, this valley offers a wealth of sporting activities. Lake Joux, Jura's largest, is a skaters' paradise in winter. Up until several years after WWI, its ice was cut into blocks and stored in underground icehouses in the village of Pont (at the eastern end of the lake) before being shipped to Paris.
