Opis

Located on the banks of the Ría del Tinto, this modern wharf is home to life-size replicas of the three caravels of Christopher Columbus' expedition: La Niña, La Pinta and Santa María. Visiting the Wharf of the Caravels helps understand the magnificent madness of these men who, in 1492, boarded boats that seem rather small for venturing into the unknown. A small exhibition and an audio-visual montage about this perilous expedition round off the visit.
