Opis

This observatory rubs shoulders with the summit of Mount Rokko, bristling with communication aerials. As you get off the cable car from Arima Onsen, you cannot miss its distinctive open-work structure, lit up at night. Besides the lovely view from the platform over Kobe and Osaka bay, the observatory, designed by Sambuichi Hiroshi, combines sustainable development and architecture. Clever rainwater, snow and ice collection systems provide the building with natural air-conditioning.
