In this neighbourhood that extends around Bonham Strand, the atmosphere is 100% Chinese. Queen's Road West and Wing Lok Street are lined with Chinese medicine shops selling various implements, manuals, exotic herbs and the dubious "magic" remedies that are so sought-after here (stag's penis, swallows' nests, shark fin etc) and still widely available, despite international regulations. Along Man Wa Lane are the name chop booths, where craftsmen carve personalised stamps onto a stone or bone seal.
