The original Gothic Church of the Holy Blood, was remodelled in the Baroque style, then re-Gothicized at the end of the 19C. However, its wooden bell tower remained Baroque and is undoubtedly the most elegant in town. Inside, note the Assumption of the Virgin attributed to Tintoretto. A chancel stained-glass window has an unusual feature: Hitler and Mussolini are depicted as onlookers of ill omen during Christ's flagellation.
