Built in the first half of the 18C, this was the one of main Baroque churches in Granada. The interior is organized around the design of a Latin cross and has lateral chapels, a raised dome above the crossing of the transept and a coro alto at the entrance to the church. The unity of style makes this a wonderful spectacle. In the chancel a large gilded wooden retable conceals the camarín made up of three rooms decorated in the purest Baroque style.
