Opis

A mission of Moravian Brothers, the oldest in the country, was established here in the 1730s and given the name of Genadendal (Valley of Grace) a century later. The powers that be could never tolerate the interest it showed in native and biracial people - protection, emancipation and a teacher training school. You can find out more by visiting the museum and the magnificent complex of Dutch-style buildings.
