Opis

The site of Epidaurus is one of the gems of the Argolid, with sparsely inhabited countryside, alternating between gently rolling hills and verdant plains. Believers and the sick converged in this sanctuary dedicated to Asklepios, the god of healing. Of all the buildings of this Ancient health farm, only the exceptional theatre remains intact. You will also see the vestiges of the impressive Asklepios sanctuary, and a museum with sculpted interiors and surgical instruments. Visit the site in the morning, as soon as it opens.
