Opis

The majority of the town's 400 half-timbered houses are situated near the Marktplatz, beginning with the two houses on the corner of Münsterstraße: the Brodhaus (1552) and the impressive Ratsapotheke (1590). Opposite stands the town hall with three projecting fronts crowned with unusual pointed roofs. Also note the Weigh House (Ratswaage), an old weigh-bridge whose perfectly preserved façade is typical of Einbeck, with its palm-leaf motifs, friezes and twisted mouldings.
