Opis

The island of Amager is the gateway to Denmark, home to Copenhagen's international airport (Kastrup) and the Øresund Bridge - an impressive feat of engineering connecting Denmark to Sweden. The island is easily accessible from the south of Copenhagen by car or public transport, which is good news, since it offers some lovely outdoor excursions. You can also visit a giant aquarium, Kastrup, and get a taste of the tranquillity of the little town of Dragør, at the southern tip of the island.
