Opis

From the road bordering the village, you can really appreciate the beauty of the architecture of Montbrun Castle: the moats and high walls bear witness to its strategic defensive role along the borders of the Duchy of Aquitaine. All that remains from the 12C, when the castle was built, is the square keep, adorned with handsome masonry, machicolations and a gemeled window. The main building and defensive walls, linked by round towers, one of which surrounds the base of the keep, date from the 15C.
