Extending across a hill in the heart of a residential quarter, this delightful park is undoubtedly San Sebastián's finest. A creation of Franco-Spanish gardener Pierre Ducasse (1836-1892), it surrounds a neo-Classical palace (1878), Franco's summer residence, which became the House of Peace and Human Rights in 2010. Its underground buildings are home to the Aiete cultural centre and a culture zone dedicated to children. It also offers play areas and benches for visitors.
