Opis

This complex of buildings is at the heart of the Netherlands' democratic political process. The Stathouder Gate leads into the interior courtyard (Binnenhof), at the centre of which stands the Chamber of the Knights, or Ridderzaal. The buildings erected around it, dating from different periods, symbolise the continuity of the Dutch government. They are home to the Senate, the Council of Ministers, the Prime Minister's office and the House of Representatives.
