On 22 November 1963, alleged assassin Lee Harvey Oswald fired shots at President John F. Kennedy from this storey. Today the 835m2 of the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza holds a tribute to Kennedy, covering his life, career and death. Audio programmes, descriptive text, archival photographs and film footage paint a picture of this historical figure. The window from which Oswald is said to have shot the president has been reconstructed to look as it did when investigators discovered it.
