Opis
This estate served as a love nest for Ninon de Lenclos, a leading female figure of the 17C, and Louis de Mornay. Ninon's pavilion (15-16C), the 18C château and the 70ha-grounds command some fantastic perspectives over the landscape. A path skirts the large lake, leading to stunning Italianate terraced lawns and to a water feature and a boxwood maze. From the terrace, don't miss the view over the southern façade of the Château du Haut.
