Opis

This is one of the best restored parts of old Chartres. Some houses (nos 17 and 19) have preserved their embossed doors crowned with bull's-eye windows. At the corner with the Rue aux Cois, a half-timbered house boasts the shape of a ship's prow. Opposite, admire the staircase turret of "Queen Bertha".
