Opis
It would be a crime to miss the 15-16C St-François-de-Sales cathedral and Rue Croix-d'Or. Lined with stately homes, this was the most aristocratic street of the town. Stroll down picturesque Rue Basse-du-Château with its footbridge-gallery and arcades of old workshops. Then head to the 14-15C château, which is worth visiting for its Late Gothic Ste-Chapelle. On your way, keep a look out for the trompe-l'oeil paintings dotted around the historic town.
