Opis
In this street (formerly Rue de la Bassinerie), the middle classes lived in the even-numbered houses and the labourers in those with odd numbers, so crossing the street had major social implications! Note the Art nouveau-style house on the corner of Rue Croix-des-Teinturiers; the mansion at n° 2 (local Chamber of Commerce and Industry); a building in brick and stone at n° 10 (Regional Chamber of Commerce); and a half-timbered house at n°s 14 and 16.
