Opis

The wild landscape in which they are located, their tiering, and the steep road leading to them make these quarries the most impressive in the area. They are accessed via three successive viaducts known as the Ponti di Vara, built in the 19C for the former mine railway line. The Colonnata quarries 8.5km to the east, are situated in a particularly verdant setting.
