Opis

The primary attractions of this gorge, which is shorter and narrower than Big Cottonwood, are its two renowned resorts. Nearest to Salt Lake City, Snowbird surpasses all the other Wasatch resorts, with its highest summit reaching 3 350m/11 000ft and a total descent of 990m/3 240ft. Alta is the second destination ski resort in the western US, after Idaho's Sun Valley. Famed for its relaxed, old-fashioned atmosphere and reliable snow, Alta does not allow snowboarding.
