Of the Art Gallery collections, renovated in 2011, the most remarkable are those relating to the 19C and 20C French and German schools: Delacroix, Courbet, Menzel, Beckmann, Liebl. The other European schools are also worthy of mention, in particular, the copperplate engravings room housing over 230,000 drawings and etchings from Dürer's day to the present.
