Opis

Five reservoirs stretch over the course of the Eau d'Heure River, forming Belgium's largest man-made body of water and its largest nautical complex. They are nestled in a wooded estate, where a tourist and sports resort has been built. Two large dams were set up in the 1970s on the course of the river: the Barrage de la Plate Taille, the largest in the country, is a concrete, gravity-type dam; more modest, is the Barrage d'Eau d'Heure, a rockfill dike.
