Downstream from Florenville, the Semois River, a tributary of the Meuse, flows in sweeping, steep-sided meanders. The villages perched along its course offer fine vantage points. Located on Belgium, this picturesque, isolated valley is the homeland of the illustrious knight, Godfrey of Bouillon, a region still marked by/dripping with legend and folklore, with its fairies, witches and marrying stone.
