Opis

This museum, enabling to tour the world's carnivals, is housed in a former 18C Augustine school. The mask collection includes exhibits from Oceania, the Amazon, North America (Indians), Africa, Asia (theatre masks), Latin America... Another section covers winter festivals and European carnivals. Naturally, Wallonia's traditional carnivals, especially the one in Binche, take up a large part of the museum.
