Opis

In the early hours of the morning, the quays of the port are alive with the comings and goings of fishermen laden with the day's catch, which will end up on the stalls of the Mercado Ver-o-Peso. This indoor market is held in superb Gustave Eiffel-inspired halls. Covered with zinc, they are embellished with four polygonal corner towers. If fish is not your thing, rest assured that the market also sells all the secret ingredients found in Brazilian cooking and natural medicines.
