Opis

A marked trail through gorse and scrubland leads to the former troglodyte monastery, whose chapel houses the tomb of St Roman. The terrace of St-Roman abbey offers a superlative view over the Rhône, Avignon and Ventoux with Tarascon in the foreground. On the way down, note the vast hall and the monks' cells, completing this scene of compelling simplicity.
