In the heart of the large Zilker Park (146ha), which offers picnic facilities, a playground for children and numerous cycle paths, there is a refreshing natural swimming pool. Picture a huge pool 300m long, 45m wide in places, a diving board and vast lawns sloping down to the water from nearby natural springs. The water has a constant temperature of between 20 and 22°C and is incredibly clear. The ideal antidote to the stifling summer heat.
