Opis

Aslanhane, the oldest mosque of Ankara dating from the 13C, incorporates fragments of ancient stones, particularly in the lower section of the brick minaret. The prayer hall is covered with a carved wooden ceiling, an unusual structure supported by beautiful columns with ancient capitals. The mihrab is adorned with enamelled faience and the elegant minbar is sculpted from cedar wood.
