On the banks of the Amstel and set in a 17C former hospital which has been completely renovated, this satellite of St Petersburg's Hermitage hosts fantastic temporary exhibitions, drawn from the collections of Russia's sovereigns dating from the reign of Catherine the Great and enriched by holdings seized during the Revolution.
