If you are taking a trip into Gold West Country, you must not miss the picturesque Pintler Scenic Highway. This magnificent strip of over 100km/62mi meanders past ranches, crosses a pass and skirts lakes; all the while bringing you closer to the ghost towns of the 19C Montana Gold Rush. At the southernmost tip lies Anaconda, an old mining town, whose beautiful Art deco theater and a copper foundry have been preserved.
