Opis

The crow's nest of Cape Verde, the round island of Fogo ("Fire") is visible from practically the whole archipelago on a clear day, thanks to its active volcano, which peaks at 2 829m. Around the perfectly shaped cone, the spectacular landscapes of the caldera are fascinating. Their hypnotic blackness contrasts with the bright colours of the vines, coffee plantations and the beautiful city of São Filipe. Fogo's incredible landscapes can be explored on foot, as you enjoy the islanders' highly developed sense of hospitality.
