Built on Valère hill, surrounded by a wall, with a crenellated tower and guards' path, the basilica was built between the early 12C and the first half of the 13C. Magnificent 17C stalls (scenes from the Passion) adorn the chancel, which still boasts historiated Romanesque capitals and 15C frescoes.
