  The Michelin Guide's review
This delightful and popular residence was frequented by some of the country's leading citizens: Diane of France; Lamoignon (the President of the Parliament), who entertained Racine, Madame de Sévigné, Bourdaloue and Boileau; and Alphonse Daudet, who lived here. Nowadays, the reading room of the Bibliothèque Historique de la Ville de Paris, with its half-timbers and painted ceiling, is used by researchers.
