  The Michelin Guide's review
The Archaeological Museum at Burgas showcases objects discovered locally. Particularly interesting are the remains of the Thracian civilisation: a statue of a man (5C BCE), a vase decorated with Dionysian scenes (4C BCE) and a ritual slab illustrating a horseman (2-3C CE). The Greek and Roman periods are also depicted, as is the history of Greek settlement on the shores of the Black Sea.
