St Martin's Cathedral, built in the 14C in the Gothic style, is one of Bratislava's must-see monuments. It was the coronation church of Hungarian monarchs between 1563 and 1830: a total of 11 kings and eight queens were crowned there. A replica of the crown adorns the cathedral tower.
