Breitscheidplatz square is ever thronged with musicians and street artists, making it a popular meeting place for locals and tourists alike. The Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche, dubbed the "hollow tooth" by Berliners, stands in the middle of the square, in memory of Kaiser Wilhelm II.
