Owner Yannick Bigourdan named his French restaurant after his grandmother who clearly inspired his journey into the world of hospitality. No doubt she would approve of the warm, inclusive atmosphere and the attentive service. It’s a sizeable space, whose quasi-industrial looks are tempered with an abundance of hanging pendant lights, while shaded glass in front of the kitchen allows hints of the activity within. While the food is recognizably Gallic, there’s a discernible contemporary edge to the dishes. Even the cocktails have something of a French accent.
