A true home from home! The restaurant is housed in Hotel Strasserwirt, whose history – dating back to 1399 – in no small way contributes to the wonderful atmosphere. The dining area is divided into three charming "parlours", which could hardly be more different in their individual designs and tasteful details: Swiss stone pine panelling and sacred art (Blaue Ofenstube), handmade emerald-green floor tiles and ceramic stove (Ambrosiusstube) and exposed walls combined with spruce furnishings finished with white soap (Stube1399). The set menu, comprising up to five courses, features delicious dishes made with select regional ingredients – think marinated char, pickled chanterelles, spruce pesto, marigold mousse and ginger dumplings with apple chutney.
