The Michelin Guide's review
After an extensive renovation, Iyo presents itself in a completely new guise: black marble gives way to more contemporary tones, making the restaurant even more international, though still characterized by a certain Japanese essentiality and rigor. Upon entry, a small lounge and a long open kitchen with numerous sushi chefs at work provide the welcome; you then proceed to a dining room with soft, relaxing colors, while the round Patagonian marble tables are – to say the least – stunning! The particularly extensive menu lists the classic offerings you’d expect from a Japanese restaurant – sushi in its most celebrated forms, sashimi, and tempura, to name just a few – alongside more creative or fusion recipes, the result of original combinations of Japanese, European, and other elements. Good wine selection with about 500 labels and wines available by the glass.
