Located directly on the shores of Skanderborg Lake, just 1.2 mi from the town center, Danhostel Skanderborg offers a peaceful lakeside setting with its own small private beach and free Wi-Fi in all public areas. All rooms and cabins include a private bathroom and cable TV. Cabins also feature a well-equipped kitchen and a furnished terrace. Hairdryers are available to borrow from reception. Bed linen and towels are not included, but can be rented at the hostel for DKK 80 per set (includes both linen and towel). Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own – it’s all part of the hostel spirit! Guests staying in rooms have access to a shared guest kitchen located in the room wing, where you can cook and meet fellow travelers. Other facilities include a BBQ area by the lake and laundry service available upon request. Canoes can be rented to explore the lake. The E45 motorway is just a 5-minute drive away.
