Opis

Nicknamed Tortenstück ("piece of cake"), this wedge-shaped building is the main site of the three parts of the Museum für Moderne Kunst (MMK) - Museum of Modern Art; it has two other locations in the city centre. At the MMK 1, the collection's centrepieces are presented in rotation, most notably the New York School (Claes Oldenburg, Andy Warhol) and contemporary German art (Joseph Beuys, Mario Merz, Katharina Frische, Gerhard Richter).
